There are many MANY online jobs out there which are legit. However your chances of getting the job even with a good background career or anything are very slim. Why? They rather have people they can interact with personally. Someone they know in real life will ALWAYS have priority over you no matter how bad they are. I have done a lot of online work over the years for a lot of positions and companies. They will always hire local people above those who are online.
