Depends on what kinda movies you like! I love so many movies it would be hard to post them all on here. But I just watched Wanted and thought it was great. Old movies? Reservoir Dogs and Scarface..But I can list a million...

I don't see a lot of movies, but I recently saw Mrs. Palfry at the Clairmont. I thought it was very good. I also liked
Gran Torino.

If your into documentaries. Check out 'What The Bleep Do We Know?'. It's a few years old, but if you've never seen it, it's never too late to discover it's beautiful ability to expand your awarness, as long as you are open to it. :D

Dejavu
It is a film about an cob. He turned the past to change it and then died at the last minutes. But he saved many lives. He also saved the life of the girl who he met after her death.
But it is not a sad story. You can look for it to see why I say that.

Garage Days, it's Australian, and may not be there, it's kinda obscure. Failing that, straight play, I got Wierdsville, which I thought was kinda cool.

They are all wonderful IMHO.

Mindwalk. I think everyone on the planet should see it. It's a politician, a poet, and a physicist who meet and walk through a castle together. It really brought home the connectedness of everything on the planet for me. And that blew my mind for a year or so. -smile- I try to watch it at least once a year. Also, Diet for a small planet is good. I love all kinds of movies but these have been the most influential in my life.

More recent movies i would recommend: Lions for Lambs (Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Robert Redford). Miracle at St. Anne's, Cadillac Records (lots of good music and a true story about Muddy Waters, Chess Records - Beyonce plays the part of Etta James), Dream Girls (another musical one), Ray Charles. If you like stand up comedy, try Cat II. Soul Men with Sam Jackson & Bernie Mac. Finally, Duets with Gweneth Paltrow (about people who travel the Kareoke prize circuit -REAL GOOD)

I love movies...can watch 5 a day. So, I will stop here.

*The Fall is amazing. (If you like shows, Pushing Daisies was really good. Same actor as in The Fall.)
*Fire Walk With Me, if you like David Lynch.
*Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
*Science of Sleep, partially subtitled
*Amorres Perros, subtitled
*Running With Scissors
*Mozart and the Whale
*Secret of Roan Inish
*Dancer In The Dark, if you feel like being really sad
.... uh, I'll stop there. I guess. I'm always good for some recommendations. Hit me up! lol

If you like thrillers, then my recommendation would be The Bank Job with Jason Statham ,if you are into romance then you may like Kate and Leopold which stars Hugh Jackman and Meg Ryan.
