Any one done this with old dolls?

My mother had a few old dolls around that she liked to sew clothing for. After she passed away I took some of her dolls and started sewing uniforms for them from old sci fi shows. Barbies little sister Stacy became a security guard from Space 1999. Another doll became an Eagle pilot both with belts and little comlocks I made for them. If I can find another old Barbie I plan to make her a deep sleep operative from Logans Run complete with a ds gun, follower and utility belt. Than I can put the results up on E groups I belong to.

I want to see some pics too. Sadly, all of my daughters dolls were given to the goodwill last year, except for the one that my son nabbed before they went out the door, and he's not parting with it anytime soon.

I used to take my sister's Barbie, my ken, Captain Action, Captain Maddox, and any other action figures in the 12" size and make robes for them and made a nativity scene.

To snowlady Barbie has three sisters. They are Kelly Skipper and Stacey. I would love to have someone around who could actually dress dolls like this. Ps if Im not mistaken after Stacey and Kelly were born Barbara Millicent Roberts also had a wee baby sister Chrissy.

Can't say I have done this, but I actually have a question for you... when did Barbie have a sister named Stacey? I thought it was Skipper. Atleast in my days it was!

That's a lot better than what I did with my old dolls. When I got over my Barbies at about 7 or 8, I cut off all their hair, pulled off their heads, and ripped off all their clothing. Don't be afraid! It sounds horrible, but it's actually really satisfying in a creepy way.
