Any one every lived in the projects or ghetto before? what was it like?

Well you'd better be with them if you want to be one cuz it's darn cold on the outside and alone is no fun:>

My neighborhood use to be pretty much another ghetto then they did something were a lot of the very poor minorities left and it was pretty unsafe but not terrible so I guess it might not have been as bad as other neighborhoods around me, I do remember that there was a huge problem with the loitering and the you can't go outside by yourself and everything looked run down but that is a pretty bleak memory.

How exactly is living around a bunch of desperate druggies fun?
Fire bombs across the street from you are not fun, bullets coming through your walls and destroying your property (not to mention just missing you) is not fun, finding out the sweet old lady two houses over was ripped out of her wheel chair and beaten to death is not fun,
taking your dogs to the vet because somebody poisoned them is not fun,
coming home home to find your house robbed and ******** of it's copper pipes while you were at the vets is not fun,
having to carry a weapon to make it to and from work is not fun,
trying to go to the corner store for milk only to find out it was shot up and robbed is not fun,
there's plenty more not fun things about living in the ghetto but I'm tired of typing.
