I have been a runner for 5 years (4-6 miles twice a week) and last year I became a vegetarian. My eating habits before then were horrible. I consumed way too much meat along with sodium. Since I've become a vegetarian...I've lost about 10lbs and 2 inches off my waist. Now my bp is within normal ranges. I've battled high bp for nearly 15 years and nothing worked. With the combination of working out and a drastic change to my "eating/life"-style, I finally see results.
