    If this is the episode I'm thinking of (the Canadian woman, heavy-duty alcoholic), then yes, I think that was wrong, on the part of both Matt and the sister. If not wrong, then at the least not destined to end free of grievances.

    That said, at some point Nicole owed it to herself to move on.

    Yes, I feel the only reason to ever move on to a sibling would be the natural death of your partner. Otherwise it's best to just move on and stay clear.
