Any other secrets you Yanks are keeping from us Brits?

On the web I found a recipe for pumpkin pie, which I know is what Americans have to celebrate Thanks Giving, I hadn't eaten pumpkin before so I baked this for my family and OMG!!! This is like getting a real slice of heaven!!! We should celebrate thanks giving too!!! What other food gems are you keeping secret from us Brits, lol??

Actually a lot of things. I've been to England, tasted a variety of the every day meals as I stayed there with friends who are from there. About the only thing I find awesome was the fish and chips from a restaurant. The rest is well.. awfully bland and some are downright gross.

bricmpt	Posted Nov 4th, 2009 at 6:46AM blackeyed peas with rice and lots of cheddar cheese! Not sure if you eat southwestern chili topped with sour cream, cheese and ground crackers. How about fried eggs (sunny side up) mixed in a bowl with grits, lots of butter, salt and pepper. A soft burrito filled with 1tbsp butter and sprinkled heavily with powdered sugar, then rolled and heated. These are some of my favorites. Hope something strikes your fancy! Rated: +1Vote for this!
