I used to get paid to jump out of planes......military. Loved it.

Yeah! That's where I understand so many people get trained. Or in fire services. Still, there is more danger involved for you that way, always the question of what you'd find on the ground.Like (1)

The first time that I jumped out of a plane. I was so mesmerized by the experience of flying that I forgot to pull the ripcord, but fortunately, it had an altitude sensor!

That's common...you didn't have instructors to pull for you? How many jumps did you do after that?

Climbed a clasic climb at garden of the gods at red rocks Colorado the day after a gratful dead show. Also jumped out of a single engined sesna at 3000 feet the first time I was ever in a plane in my life. The ground man guided my descent via walki talki attatched to my shoulder. Also flipped a raft at ohio pile river and almost drowned.
