OK. I'll admit to having "enough".
And I'll give you a short list of boring tips, because thats where the gold is.
Make a written budget and stick to it.
Put 10% of whatever you earn away every pay, in the highest safe account you can.
Form habits that work for you are stick to them. (I still throw all my high value coins in a big vase at home and empty it when it gets full, which covers air fares and change for a holiday)
Dont buy things for status. An old car that is reliable is much better than a new car you owe on. (better for the environment to, since it isnt being made again. Its already here.)
Pay cash, and NEVER use credit to buy a depreciating asset, like a car. (store credit will KILL you)
Take the time to haggle if possible. It can take you days to earn the money you can save in 30 seconds of asking "Whats your best cash price if I buy today?"
And finally , if you want investmant advice, read Warren Buffett and follow his rules ALWAYS.

Save! I cannot stress this enough.
Do not use credit as a toy to buy toys, use credit wisely and rarely.
Be frugal with dress and food.
And always look for ways you can make a little extra income.
Don't be scared to take risks, you might lose 500 bucks on your small part time business but on the other hand you could strike it rich (enough so you can work for yourself! :) )

Financial advisers come in all forms and have various skill-sets to help you better access what your financial goals are. Is it saving for retirement, starting a basic money market account, building a beginner's stock portfolio or turning over investments into a more diversified portfolio? If I were you, perhaps a friend or two already has one and you could see what they have to say about it. Or you could start by seeking them out and having a few consultations...this way you can pick which one best suits you. Just by setting up a meeting can get your thoughts on ideas and goals and what you would like. Have a list of things to discuss, questions to ask and goals written out so they can better analyze your needs and make suggestions.
