Anyone else here agree with me that the Discovery Channel has sold out?
Going more in the direction of showing stupid series, rather than showing things like they used to?
A key example lies in Amish Mafia, who gives a flying F about the Amish in the first place. They are crazy religious psychopaths who think that God is law, which I can see that as being okay, its just the way that they are being all mafioso esque, that makes me think that its all a load of complete horseshit and they are acting for the camera for the majority if not the entire episode. Its a sitcom, more eligible for NBC, where at least people will realize that its a sitcom, and it would soon be canceled!!!
What happened to the TRUE Discovery side of the channel, where they'd show things that people actually cared to learn about/real life experiences, like the beginning of Deadliest Catch, rather than the completely overdramatized "Shark Week," which drives me even further "up the wall..." TBH I always hated shark week because you always knew what was going to happen to the swimmer in the water with the sharks, you know..?
