I was going to do it when they failed to recognize Easter, not even one egg. They just do not reflect what I have in my life. This question is out to the Christians on EP

I am a liberal conservative - it really depends on the issue. But not even a Merry Christmas coupled with what they do on Easter every year - I switched to another homepage too.

I don't like people who try to control how I think, even in very subtle ways.

I agree there - I hardly watch TV because they can not show a male that isn't in a negative light.

They legally can't. Google is not Christian. Or any religion-affiliated. They can only say "Happy Holidays" to not offend any group.

Best Answer

Let's pretend Satanism is popular, and there's a super important holiday to them called Day of Evil, where they celebrate all sorts of evil in the world. Surely because it's popular, Google MUST put it as their Daily Doodle, and because it's popular, surely no one will get offended by it! Nope. Google cannot put up any direct religious- or sect- affiliated material as their Doodle, because people may get offended, complain, and sue Google. Sounds as stupid as religion itself, but it's the law of business.

Best Answer

Of course they can.

Best Answer

Technically, they *can* but it'd be violating their clause of no religious affiliation.

Best Answer

legally they can, they choose not too.
