Anyone else sick & tired of living with a spouse who is addicted to gambling and refuses to get help?

The only one who could ever intervene with either 100% success or who's word never comes back empty handed is God. My husband was addicted to crystal meth and gambling and never comming home for two years!!!!!! I was pregnant and at home alone and miserable but when in Gods timing I cried out to the Lord for three days and was filled with the holy spirit and spoke...... My husband told me "You know you almost had me convinced!" And I told him that I only told him what I heard. He never did drugs ever again nor gambled nor left me alone ever since that miraculous night!!! My gratitude in thankfulness is genuine when I thank the Lord for that one!

avibot	Posted Oct 24th, 2009 at 4:14PM living life for someone along with something you hate is really not the easiest thing in the world to deal with. you may have had enough, you may think you're nearly at your end rope.. but pls, i beg you to think about it for a while if you can.. now is not the only time you had so much difficulties.. if things are not working the way they're supposed to be, then maybe it's because you still have all the time in the world to find new ways you've never tried before. I was lucky enough to kick a drug addiction on my own without help.... but most addicts are not that lucky ..... I recommend using the techniques from that show 'intervention' to try to create a false bottom for your loved one Rated: +1Vote for this!
