Yes, I went to marriage guidance and it was pretty useless. The only thing that was good about it was that I was able to get my opinion across without getting shouted over. The female counsellor finished by saying 'Well you don't seem to have any communication problems so there's not much I can suggest to you' My husband and I grew apart and split up. It might work for some people but not for me. I went to another hypno-cognitive therapist and that was much better. He was male and offered much better logical practical solutions. He was very knowledgable and recommended some excellent books to read. If you have problems in your marriage you have to start by trying to improve yourself. It is impossible to change your partner.
