    see a chiropractor to rule out C1/Axis jam or any cervical problems. Get checked and adjusted..

    Sometimes they're caused by tight muscles and knots in your neck and shoulders, so a massage can help. Also, if you have the time than lay down for a bit and close your eyes. Works for me.

    the doctor is your best bet... i've never attempted home remedies for an ongoing issue. you need tests.

    My dad's headaches were caused by the root of a tooth hitting a nerve. Be sure you've covered every possible cause.
    Rubbing lavender oil on your temples is supposed to help.

    i often o.d. on coffee, i cut my intake down, and my headaches diminished. mind you i was having 10 cups aday on average ans 2 teaspoon of coffee per cup. no sleep and i was peeking out bigtime

    i have the same thing....the best thing that eased them them most out of everything that was prescribe to me was Keppra....it is an anti-epileptic medication

    They have never found the cause of them...i have been to many dr...neurologists....even the strongest pain killers the hospitals could give never even phase the pain...unfortunately it is just in management status now

    If it's tension, try taking an old wooden chair or folding metal chair you don't care about, put it in the shower, and sit under the water with it hitting the back of your neck--it's a bit like a massage, plus the moisture and heat will open your sinuses if that's part of the problem.
