Anyone have dreams that have such strong emotions that when you wake up you continue to feel the emotion just as strong?

Sometime I have dreams and the feeling is so strong (for example anxious) that when I awake I continue to feel anxious for upto 15 minutes afterwards. Is this normal? Is there a reason why I would be having such strong dreams? These emotions can be anything from happiness to sadness, anxious, scared, upset, anrgy, worried.

Yes, someimes I think my reality is still apart of my dream. So when I wake up im so unsure of whats going on. And I have this dream that comes every now and then, thinking me and my boyfriend go to bed together and when I wake up and not see him there, it's weird because the dream felt so real. Or I wake up crying because I was crying in the dream.

i once woke up with my stomach hurting from laughing so much in my dream. it hurt for a while. And, yes, i still laugh when i think about that dream.

why such strong dreams? dunno, except i don't see why our emotions should be any different in those dreams than in this dream which we call reality.

The reason I ask is that I had a dream that somebody (who I still have no idea who it was) left my life that was really close to me and in the dream I was missing that person. When I woke up I still felt like I was missing them. It helps to know that I'm not the only one having these kind of dreams.

Lay on your back. Bend one leg at the knee. Place other leg over knee and gently pull your leg over while extending both arms in the opposite direction. Slow and gentle.

Ooh yes. Of every type. Dreams that are really happy and wake up feeling filled with happiness, dreams where I am fighting someone or something and wake up with that adrenaline rush, 'mature' dreams and wake up in the mood LOL, etc. :)
