    yeah - few things
practice - your vocal chords are like any other muscle - don't use them for a while their performance suffers ..... i been singingin and playing for 30 years and if i don't sing OR play for a few days or week my singing or/and playing get 'rusty'

STAND UP - when you sing

and SMILE when your singing - which is easy cause singing feels good for the singer AND the audience....

make sure you remember to BREATHE when on stage - and practice BREATHING when you practice singing -

if your mildly stage frightful imagine yourself singing to people you know and are comfortable with ...... or to a rapt audience....... or close you eyes and pretend your in the shower - what ever works - till you warm up and warm up the audience....

and don't forget to SMILE -

I enjoy singing, but sometimes we all need motivation. And a lot of times, I motivate myself. You have to believe in yourself. Have dreams? Good, everybody does, but do we accomplish them is the main matter. My inspiration from music comes from my love for it. And if singing is something you enjoy doing and it comes from the heart, then it is absolutely beautiful. Go and wow the world with what you got!

This may sound a little wierd, but performing isn't about you... It's about the people who are listening to or watching you. I was told that it's selfish to think about myself, when I should be more concerned about giving my best to the people who came to see me!

Get a coach. And record yourself for playback.

You gotta just do it enough times. Eventually you'll get comfortable in your own little world. For me the biggest hurdle wad getting over feeling like I LOOKED ridiculous up there. Which I do, but so foes EVERYBODY.

Here's hoping your stage presence is not the same as your profile pic. You look shy and sad.

I had a good friend and band mate tell me, 'when in doubt, sing it out!' Referring to whether or not you knew you were hitting the right notes. Always looking confident is a good thing, even if your knees are knocking. Making it look like you were meant to hit that note is better even if it's a bit sour, than tentatively sliding into that note.
Sorry that's probably not what you were looking for. Try singing in front of a mirror. Smile. Or at least lift your eyebrows a little cuz this will make your face look more animated and engaged. Practice makes perfect.
-- sing in front of your family or friends. Or sing in a choir.

Took me 35 years before I could sing in front of anybody and now I do it for a living--just do it and when you are told that you have a good voice--confidence will come. Just don't hold back--sing loud and proud.

Do you mean in front of an audience? What's your main problem? Vocal chords tighten when you get nervous?

Yeah I just couldn't stand in front of an audience and sing for them even if I had to sing with music , nerves really and I don't think people will like my voice
