I have been to many concerts....but never to see a tribute band.<br />

It's just not appealing to me.

I have only been to tributes to deceased or defunct artists.....the only way for Ray Charles, ABBA, Billy Fury etc etc

I absolutely love live music.....but if I couldn't hear the actual artist live....I would rather just pop in an old CD of their music. BUT.....I won't knock tribute bands until I actually hear one live so I can give an honest opinion. ;)

I've been hearing nothing but great reviews about the band Get the Led Out, a Led Zeppelin tribute band. I've had a chance to hear one of their songs played on a local radio station, and they really do sound like Led Zeppelin.

Yes I have heard them too.....almost as good as the real thing.....which we have again courtesy of the 2007 reunion cd &amp; dvd

I've seen a few tribute bands anda ll of them have been extremely good. But I kind of wonder why they exist in the first place.
