Anyone in need of true friends whom you can call at anytime day or night who will answer and be there for you?

Yes, I do.. I used to have 1 best friend and I lost her because of her selfishness.. I was sick of GERD and causes me Ana later. I lost weight and she felt discontent since we have been compared always in every matter. I lost weight, I'm thin, when friends talk about this matter, she couldn't take it. I'm still strugling with ED until now and this has been half year we had stopped the relation, I feel better without her since I found she has nothing for me but selfishness... I really need "true friend" who is really true :) to fill the position of my best friend .. and I'll do my best to be your great friend as well > < ~

I could use a freind late at night sometimes.I am single and there are very few single women my age or even people who dont drink all night I can talk too.It gets pretty damn lonely and boring late at night here and it would be nice to have someopne to talk to.And I had to let my home Internet go because money is tight.So I go to the library but they close at 7 PM.

I have been told to stop doing that for people. My life consists of getting up at 4am when my friend has had a fight with her boyfriend or going to be with another friend at 3am because she feels insecure about herself because her man couldnt keep his errection. Ahhhhh the things we do.

Yes. There was a guy that I thought might turn into such a friend, but everyday it seems more and more clear that their kindness is along the lines of "One can always be kind to people about whom one cares nothing." :/

I have this guy that thought we were a couple i looked on him as a friend and now we are really good friends i got locked out a few weeks ago (ok it was 4am ) i called him and stayed the nighthe is a true friend

Hmm..that would be nice, problem is, those friends are few and far between. There maybe few that could be trusted, but i always found dissappointments from people, even i myself am a disappointment to others at times. the only one that can be trusted is a relationship with God.

In a perfect world, that would be so peachy wouldn't it ? But now days, you get involved with someone elses drama, abuse or what have you, you can get dead and never seen again !

Everyone is need of a friend like that....But I do not want one that I could call if I got tossed in jail....I want one that would be right at my side while I was in jail...Then I would have someone to talk to....hehehehe

While I think its important to have "true friends" I also believe that sometimes if your life is in shambles, sometimes that can be too much for others to handle. If you have cancer, AIDS, or something like that, that's one thing. But other than that, you choose your life and what kind of life you want it to be. True friends are there for the the exception of negativity in your life... they are not a toxic waste dumps that should be at one's beck in call because that person won't run their lives correctly.
