Anyone notice the poor quality of today's board games, as opposed to the ones we grew up with?

Every board game I buy my kids that I played as a child is made like garbage. Take Monopoly for example. I remember when the houses and hotels were made of wood(very old sets). Operation, Candyland, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Trouble, I could go on and on are flimsy pieces of junk all made in China.

Maybe that's why there are so many 10th, 25th, and 50th editions of the old games in stores these days. A good board game is timeless.
