Anyone Suffer From Medically Induced Depression?

I believe, no, I KNOW that I was misdiagnosed with depression 9 years ago. After several attempts to wean myself off of the medications I feel that the medication itself has brought on the depression. Before starting the medicine I didn't feel as bad as I do on the medicine. However, the withdrawal from the antidepressants are really, really hard to deal with. Have any of you been in this situation and kicked the pills for good? How long did it take? What method did you use?

Yes it took a few months and the doctor gave me some other meds that helped with the withdrawl. It was several years ago and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of it but ask your doctor.
