'Tis better to be feared than loved, if one must be in wanting.
Niccoló Machiavelli- "Il Prinicipe"/ The Prince
No. I think we're mostly kept "fat and happy" so that we're too complacent and lazy to change anything we don't like or know is wrong.
You could be right there,,
i think the media is to blame for invoking fear. They are guilty through their selective broadcasting.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9poCAuYT-s Temptations,"Ball of Confusion".1969? Almost could have been written about today. Now,people always say its the "elite media"(Fox?MSNBC?)or the government,no,its our "bosses" who put those clowns there,OR The Illuminati, etc. All I know fer sure is if we keep blaming it on forces beyond our control, with a fractured, polarized society,we're history.
I dont think so --Nooooooooooooo
we are fearless it is what makes us great and wonderful there is nothing we wont dare to do
consequently we get ourselves in a jam sometimes but hey aint nothing but a peanut in the long run
That's the way all countries keep their people in line.
How do you not know this?
no our government is
I would say yes.
I think they are kept in line by the cameras that are posted on the stoplights if you go through a red light you are going to get a ticket, it could be fear , or paranoia.
You're right about that
I can say yes and no , there are a lot of variables but fear is just hardwired in all humans.
Yes, In some way. I'm surprised no one mentioned December 21st to invoke more paranoia via newscast.
*something about Americans being fat and lazy, and motivated by fear* more like American'ts
In many cases I would say yes but when you have the number of people living on the planet as we do today .. whatcha gonna do? One slight step over the wall and all hell breaks out with total chaos.
yeah alot of americans fear muslims
I never knew Americans were kept in line. I thought their self-centered arrogance let them go about like lost sheep.
Yes I agree with that,,,, just a painful few think they are ,,,
What country are you in?
