    There's actually a bigger question here. Why do people think that it's possible for one human being or even a group of human beings to have sufficient information on a system which literally makes hundreds of billions of decisions per day in order to make effective and rational choices?

    Mises showed that this was impossible. The USSR demonstrated that this was impossible and yet people still expect it to be done.
