Are husbands really as STUPID as we think they are?

yours may be, if you can talk like this. did you tell that to him in the face and you can keep your eyes open ?? then yes, some of them husbands are stupid. but saying "husbands are stupid" as in all of them, pissed me off so badly i can hardly find less hurtful words to write.
now really, i am not into violence at all, and i can even understand you had some bad days and you came here to scream your pain. but using offensive language against all married men, is plain stupid , that if you are not a regular troll. and btw, i can totally hide you under my diplomas, and even more, i bet my life i have more knowledge than you in any domain you want . except maybe your workplace.
and as a last idea, wait and wait until women will answer. i wonder how many married women would graciously accept their hubbies to be called stupid .

With the women to each man ratio us men have in the world, being a male and getting married is stupid by default.

So yeah in those terms becoming a husband makes you stupid.

I think that this is an extremely harsh thread. Sure, there are some guys who suck as husbands for a variety of reasons but to ask this in such a broad way condemns too many good men. I am not married by my step-father who I consider as my blood father is not a stupid husband. He is caring and gentle and a bit of a wise *** but he is the friggin' man. You may be venting but this is much and had a husband wrote this about wives in this manner everyone would be bloody screaming that he's a sexist or a chauvenist pig. This is really unfair...and I do not share your opinion because the man I choose to marry will never ever ever be lumped into this category because I will follow my vows of "LOVE, HONOR, and RESPECT!" I am stupid about the simple things....it seems I always have the complexities of home and finance down to a science. But, I will always find a way to say the wrong thing at just the wrong time !! And.....don't ask ME what colors look good together !! I do well to wear shoes that match !! LOL

I don't think they are stupid. I don't think Men are stupid. I had a stupid husband once, but that's because he was emotionally stunted, not because he was a husband or because he was a man. I have a lot of respect for men. I find men wonderful, practical, simple creatures with a great deal to offer if we only give them half a chance to get a word in edgewise and stop trying to control everything they do. its just my opinion but men and women are wonderfully different. If you're stuck with a rotten egg, don't give up on cake, just find another supplier.

They fake it so the wife gives in, does the work, figures out the problems and makes the final plans. Now they have free time to drink a beer and act like they're the boss.
