Its simply just look so feminine , beautiful & matching her skirts or dresses.
It's very often that I don't wear panties. My grandma is the only one in the family who knows about it. She's been supportive, and adviced me to wear underskirts - so I do.
I'll bet I'm one of few men who still wear slips! :-0
My wife still wears half slips. She has 14 all with lace hems.
My 34 year old daughter in law also wears half slips with certain skirts. She only has two though, one black nylon with a lace hem and a gold satin one also with a lace hem.
My girl Jenny still wears slips with all her skirts. she likes to intimidate guys with showing the lace with her skirts with slit at the back. She always has to be dressed dressy for work, so most everyday she see's some guy looking at her lace.

It is such a sensible item - it really should be an essential item for every girl's wardrobe.
I'm like you and always wear a half slip or many times a full slip. I just feel better and it's what I'm used to, but today we are in the minority. "Don't give up the slip."
