China harbours such massive, latent hatred towards foreigners and the West in particular, it is desperate to prove a racial and ideological point, like the Germans at the Berlin 1936 Games and the Soviets and East Germans during the Cold War. They have a proven history of institutionalised cheating and are so obsessed with winning they would do almost anything to get gold. They no doubt have many good athletes too, which their gulag training system finds and churns out to be automatons. Ancient Chinese herbal medicine surely has substances which can help mask doping yet we cannot be sure. So the jury is out for now. What we can be sure of is that free peoples, freely competing will never be outdone by the Chinese totalitarian state in the long run.

GSK will find it if they are, but probably in a few months when they do, then China will be ******** of their medals. I think the USA may be using it too, Michael Phelps seems doped up all the time.

Probably not. Their country just caught on to the American Way. Spend hundreds of millions scouring the countryside for the most promising candidates, corralling them into academies, working them really hard, supervising them with battalions of doctors and coaches, and sending them out to overwhelm the real amateur athletes.
