Are the kids today not interested in walking through a forest, etc?

I dont know about the walking in woods part. However, I have noticed that the kids in my town that im only like 10 years older are way different then me and my friends were at that age. I never see them rollerblading, or playin outdoor games like cops and robbers, or any simple games... It takes so much more for them to be entertained. I also find it odd that they need cell phones at age 9 and how much more they are interested in s** at such a young age. It kills me that my Senior Year (3 yrs ago) there were over 5 Junior High girls pregnant..

They can't walk in a forest because they must learn the balance before it's too late.

I doubt their fear ridden parents would allow them. Parent's fears keeps kids indoors. After all, there are rapists and murderers in the woods! *giant eye roll*

Being the conspiracy theorist that I am, I think that this line of thinking is perpetuated by land developers that would like to wipe forests off the face of the earth.

i love walking around in the near bye forest, im 13, so i don't know if i count as a kid, but yah.

I admit, I'm a gamer. Bet I never pass up a good walk through nature.

There is no forests were I live, but I know myself and my sisters have no problem wandering into the great outdoors. Preferably when we're with horses. We don't all spend our lives in front of video games.
