    it's depriving us all... read my blog post. at the same time it's all the parents fault for buying into this rubbish... i refuse to let my kids on the internet and they are both nearly in high school. it's all about control folks - practise some.

    To some extent they are, but it is also up to the parents to control the access so that kids aren't always using the devices for everything..Kids today depend to much on texting or being on the internet instead of actually being out playing or talking with other kids..Kids shouldn't be allowed inside when the weather is nice out, get them out to explore and interact with others.Worked for our generation

    Yes. It is a bad thing but there are also positive effects that gadgets have.

    If anything, kids read even more today, thanks to the internet and texting. However, they don't seem to be getting their ***** off the couch any time soon.
