Well in fundamental Mormonism Black people are considered cursed descendants of Cain and therefore sinful. And the majority of polygamy practiced in the US is from various Mormon sects. Where I'm not saying that all Mormons are polygamists, nor am I saying this applies to all of them. But this may be a reason it would be a bit of an oddity to see.<br />

No problem. And wow, KingTuba, you are making terribly racist assumptions ba<x>sed off of stereotypes.<br />

JackSlash, Where I do respect your stand against my answer. By 'Mormon sects' I was referring the the individual Fundamentalist sects that spurred originally from the Mormon Church. Which I still believe to be true. Where the actual church disbanded the practice, the fundamentalist sects broke off and kept the practice. Though I've actually done quite a bit of research on the topic for my Religious Studies. I'd like to see your statistics stating otherwise, honestly.<br />

KingTuba, it's a pretty horrendous statement to suggest an entire group of people ba<x>sed on race were 'never monogamous to begin with' /that/ is why it is racist.<br />

And yes JackSlash, I used the term 'Mormon' for them loosely. The are pretty much as Mormon as Shi'ites, are Muslim.
