    "House of the Rising Sun" by Frijid Pink.

    A song sung by many artistes but this one is the best.

    Johnny Cash version of NIN's "Hurt," Dwight Yoakam cover of Elvis' "Suspicious Minds" & also his cover of Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."

    Lissie´s "Bad romance" sound much better than Lady Gaga´s version.
    I once read a youtube-comment saying: "It sounds like the original"

    A few..I prefer Nirvana's version of The man who sold the world rather than David Bowie's..even though Bowie's is awesome..I also prefer Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah to Leonard Cohen's original version. I think if you look hard enough you'll find a lot of great songs..songs that made people famous..were probably done by somebody else at some point...the trick is to make your version better :P

    I like Marilyn Manson's Depeche Mode covers better than the originals. I also like Bob Marley's version of Hotel California better. And I like Disturb's cover of Shout. Oh yeah, and I prefer Type O Negative's version of Cinnamon Girl.

    There are a lot of covers I prefer but those are the only ones I can think of right now.
