Are there any discounts in airfare for military personnel?

You would have to research the particular airline you are planning to fly with. If you are eligible there may be times when you could get a "hop". This is flying on a military plane. The problem with that is if they need your seat you are stuck wherever they kick you off, and then would have to buy a seat on a commercial airline. A lot of companies do give a military discount, so check with the airline itself.

Yes, there is. as long as you are active duty. call united and they can help you for sure.

Look into MAC flights. If you are a military spouse you should be able to get on one. It is Space available though, so if a big wig needs to fly somewhere, you will get bumped... and oh, by the way... i am pretty sure a MAC flight is on a military aircraft.... sucky

You can take military "hops" you can fly all over on the C-130s or what ever....
