Very good question, I can't stand the cartoons of today, they certainly are not like when I was growing up...I will still watch them but they have to be the old time Tweety and Sylvestor and road runner those oldies hahahh love them...:)

Exactly...they are not at all fun to watch .. they have the poorest storylines and the ugliest of 'em all characters..i would say kids of today are missing a great deal...

    Best cartoons for me...
    Rocky and bullwinkle
    Animaniacs
    Roger ramjet
    Foghorn leghorn
    Daffy duck, bugs.

A lot of cartoons now are really lame, and strongly linked to merchandising.

I totally agree with you. A very similar trend can be observed in newer generation "music"

I grew up through the 90's.. at least the music then meant something lyrically. The message in the most of it today.. "Be promiscuous, and go get wasted on the dance floor" Wow.. some quality work right there >.>

cartoons nowadays should be restricted as for adults only. kids should watch with guidance, though.

I'm not a big fan of limited animation, so I usually like the old cartoon more.
