I really only listen to that genre when I'm clubbing.
Not only gay clubs, by the way.
Goth ones are particularly appealing.

It's not as big here as in Europe. It has also lost some steam since the 90's and early 00's. I love some of it...

OMG yes! Just ask me and my friends! We all still stand by it. I cant tell you how many people I know who love to create and produce electronica music. You just have to know where to look. There is sooo much great stuff out there and it does not all come from Europe. There is alot of great Break beat coming from the USA! You just need to stay with the scene. D xtreme from Orlando is making a personal comeback as we speak. My FB pg is filled with electronica links from all over the place...Europe..Canada, USA...wherever, its all about the music and unity anyway...
