At least 50% of the American public feels that way.

That's funny seeing as how Romney only got 48% of the vote...Like (1)

Unfortunately they are still counting the military votes, this should push Rommey up several percentages points.Like (1)

America decided what direction we will take so good luck to those who are so giddy today, (we or) they're going to need it.

Only those that aren't able to get past the politics and come together to improve the nation. Unfortunately too many people would rather ***** and moan and work against each other.

But in the past the worst was not created by a president and his group. that is why this hurts so much. The enemy is within.Like (1)

For a little while, but don't worry there's a chance we'll pick up the house in the midterms and get those progress blocking jerks out of congress and back in their far right developmentally stagnant corners of the country where the can fade into obscurity without causing any more damage.

The republican party is certainly screwed as are the evangelical fundamentalists of the Tea Party. Whether they'll drag the rest of the country down the toilet with them remains to be seen, but considering they've done it before I wouldn't put it past them.

Those who have bothered to keep up may have tough times, but most will be okay. Those who thought that they could go to work in the car plant -- do marginal work at a slow rate, get 85% pay while laid off, and retire at 48, get an $18,000 bump for fifteen years -- are mistaken and will feel the pain when no one wants to employ them.
