Are we born evil and sometimes choose goodness, or are we born with goodness and sometimes choose evil?

I believe we are all born with the capability of either.

The bible says we are created in His image. That is God's image, everything that God created is good. However, when sin (disobedience) entered mankind, through Adam and Eve, all generations after have this tendency to sin by nature. So, we are good in essence with a natural tendency to sin. And we can't get rid of the natural tendency to sin. It is through Christ it is that we can be free from sin. We can be set free from the bondage of sin. A person can be totally renewed and transformed and become the way God intended it to be (a painful process at times, but full of reward, satisfaction, peace, and joy)

We come to life as neutral (we possess equally good and evil qualities). Later in life we choose if we want to be good,evil or somewhere in the middle.

I think that most of us are born good and are show evil. Just my perception!
