Are yo for interracial relationships?

It is good to find love, but I often find my self wondering if a white woman marries a African Zulu male who's culture do they follow and where will their children fit into society, and the same thing other way around? and on the end of the day doesn't it destroy Culture?. (this Q is not about race but Culture).

First of all, love do not concur all, What will happen one day if A Zulu Boy Go to his Father and Ask:' who is Shaka Zulu" and the father answer I don't know I only know About modern history.....They have a rich culture, and if you have not seen their cultural dances and their stick fights, you sure are missing out on a lot. I think it can work for the sake of love but, for the sake of culture it can not, and remember the children is not white nor black. so in a country like South Africa It is hard for interracial children to fit in. it causes a lot of social problems. But I every one has the right to marry oand love who they choose to love.

Live and let live. If you love somebody, nothing will keep you apart.

What's wrong with the kids getting a dose of BOTH cultures? At least teach the kid something about each culture and let him/her decide. Well, really, it shouldn't matter. Interracial kids are stuck between two races/cultures, so we're gonna go where we go. Nowhere to fit in really. Just my thoughts.

Yes, this is becoming natural everywhere on this new world of mature human beings. In reality, all mankind are of only one spiritual race.

Nothing wrong with it as long as you love and respect one another, and there are alot of beatiful babies as a result.

I sure am for interracial relationships.

Without them handy-dandy little things; I'd not exist. =)

I'm in one, so yes. I'm Italian and my boyfriend is Nicaraguan. I love my culture, and he doesn't care for his at all. But I have talked to him about it and I told him I wanted our children (in the future when we have them) to learn about their heritage including BOTH cultures. Learn Spanish and Italian, eat plantains and lasagna, whatever. I think it will work out quite well.

It may be a real road to healing. Seriously- its not like all white womaen are going to up and marry zulu men! Individuals should be able to do what they want and raise their children how they want.

I totally agree with AshMeadow. If two people can find each other and fall in love then it's Kissment(which means fate or destiny. ) The color of our skin is irrellivant,I have close friends (male and female)who dated someone that was black and white, and they are very happy,(one of whom just proposed. I am a good looking white guy who dated a very attractive black girl for awhile and no one judged she or I.

I imagine they'd be confused about culture at first but in the end they pick whichever one they like more(the kid). Often the more damaging one in most cases speaking from experiential observation.
I am not for them and not against them. I respect the choice and it is fine.

Love is love no matter what the race. I think it's a positive thing to merge cultures and help our children to understand people whi live differently from ourselves. As to whose culture should be followed, it depends on individual circumstances and what would work more practically.

I think we are all the same race anyways, we are all humans aren't we? I don't care about skin color, in fact I am attracted to darker skin personally.

Its not about destroying culture. Its about combining cultures or making your own. Everyone can learn from eachother.

It would be nice to be able to embrace both cultures, and not feel the need to follow one over the other. I know this is easier said then done, my husband is Hungarian and I am Irish/Australian so we try to ensure that our children get and appreciate the beauty of both cultures.

If they love each other they will come to an agreement no matter what.
Love is first and foremost.

Sure. We are all of the human race and all of us are children of God so the outward appearance doesn't matter. You raise children with cultural pride and social acceptance don't dictate labels on them or you also be dictating limitations.

I AM THE PRODUCT OF A INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIP. my father is mostly african american and my mother is french. It can be difficult growing up because not everyone accepted me and it took a while to decide which race i identified with more but in the end i realized that why should i have to choose one race when i am both. And i am in a interracial relationship now, my boyfriend is irish so i totally think they are ok. and they make the prettiest people i think :)
