1. I learned on the job training plus we had to take a test. You also have to be certified in cpr as well.<br />

2.Bathing, feeding residents, Distribute medications, taking vitals signs, make beds, change their depends or toilet it them, turn certain patients or resident ever two hour due to low risk in breakdown of the skin, monitor in and output of urine, Check blood sugars, and document at the end of your shift.<br />

3. Typical day? You run your *** off and its hard work!<br />
<br />
4. WHat did I hate about it? I didn't like the fact many nurses said " Don't get attached to these residents'. Really? HOw is that even possible? I didn't like the fact I realized the people are treated like cattle.<br />
5. I applied for the job.
