for the most part yes... but it depends on who it comes from.... if I don't care for the person or have any respect for the person I have a hard time accepting any suggestions from them

Whether a criticism is constructive or destructive, it hurts. However, if criticism is done privately, it's just okay. Criticism makes us a better person. Without criticism, we don't know enough ourselves, our weaknesses and strengths. Just accept it. Criticism from others is one way of knowing ourselves. Just cheer up because there is someone who notices our weaknesses. Accept it positively. It means that the person who criticized you cares for you,
