It's much more common to catch cold than the flu; the real flu is...awful: had almost fatal flu in a 1992 epidemic. Since then I usually get a flu shot, but won't be touching the one for “Swine flu" because of possible trouble. People are being unnecessarily terrified by this and yet most cases are relatively, not widely report in the media, but the deaths are... However, every single year very sadly people die from the flu (and complications make it more likely)...Pandemics mean thousand upon thousand die. Doesn't anyone remember Bird flu?! Small print in media coverage...mild cases of Swine flu; unlikely humans could catch Bird flu because of physiology...

I'm sure you know the swine flu recently killed my best friend so.. it sucks cause I have to pick up my mom from O'HARE AIRPORT in November. isn't it like the U.S. biggest international airport? .. yeah I'm nervous about that. waltzwithme	Posted Oct 25th, 2009 at 12:20PM Concerned about it. It is very dangerous for children and I don't want to be exposed to it because I have a son. On the news here they have shown a number of children who have died for the swine flu. Children are at higher risk if they catch it so yes, I'm worried about it. Rated: +2Vote for this!
Frankenface	Posted Oct 25th, 2009 at 2:07AM Nope. I work at a school, and it is currently shut down because of confirmed cases of H1N1. I haven't gotten it, but the masses of students who have didn't seem to have a very bad time of it. They seem to recover within a couple of days. Rated: +2Vote for this!
