My dentist has always explained everything very clearly, before he does it.

He and his assistant are also very good about telling me about any pressure/discomfort/pain you might experience [to me, being prepared makes it hurt less]. He also isn't stingy with pain pills after procedures [because motrin isn't the end-all painkiller].

If your dentist doesn't use this technique, I'd suggest finding one that does.

People tend to be far less fearful when they are informed.

they pulled three of my wisdom teeth out in one day. the guy hands was shaking while pulling out my teeth, then i heard bones cracking.

in the 50`s as a child,they were mean and rough.i have a phobia but when I go,all is well.
