I've known several people in my life who committed suicide and they NEVER went around babbling about "I want to kill myself," they never said a word - even in jest, so I find it pretty tiresome when these kids get on here and ask for instructions on how to kill themselves. Is anyone else ever tempted to tell these little rat-bastards how to helium-bag themselves just to get them to shut up?

On more than a few instances, I gave specific instructions on how to do so. My replies were chastised by other people who said I was only encouraging them to take the plunge. To date, I don't know of a single EP member who has taken his or her life.
Do you know of even ONE other EP member who has taken his or her life, as a result of being given explicit instructions how to do so?
You have just repeated one of the biggest fallacies about suicide. Sure people can be quiet about suicide but frequently they can complain for years and then finally do it. I have had depression for years and always talked about it. In 2008 I made a serious attempt and was only saved by a cop driving on a lonely road. If he didn't show up I wouldn't be making this post. Don't play around with stuff like suicide. It happens all the time.
