I seem to routinely miss them. Don't want to miss this one!

I will be, but I was not able to get the glasses that are being sold to watch it, so I will not be watching it directly.

Yes, I can't watch it directly either, but the ambience of a darkened sky during the day should still be cool! Love your Avi, BTW!

Yay thanks for the head up on the time. I knew it was in the evening I just didn't know when. Yeah I want to see it.

No. As with most other sky-related events, this one is happening while it's overcast here in Chicago.

Oh, crud! I guess there is a benefit to being in the desert; the sun shines most of the time (sometimes nauseatingly so!)

Yep...can't decide if I should go down to the beach or just watch it from home, but I'm gonna watch it :-)

Oh, I'm so jealous. CHOOSE THE BEACH! Do it for people like me stuck in the middle of the darn dusty desert! Everything is better at the beach, IMHO. I loved living in California!

I hear ya! I've lived everywhere in the continental US and finally found "home" in California :-)
