Against cruel treatment, of course, but would we need welfare? Would we have homelessness? Not to the extent that we do now. Tax money could be used to better uses. Imagine!

In the historical sense clearly I'm against it for all the obvious reasons concerning basic human rights and the dignity of the individual. As a lifestyle choice...whatever makes a person happy is entirely up to them for the same reasons.
