There are other parties, but unfortunately the donkeys and the elephants get the lime light so no one ever seems to know about other parties. And there needs to be a stronger revolt to actually vote for a separate party. Because it doesn't work to vote for someone who is going to lose anyway, unless millions of U.S. citizens actually make a pact to do it.
