You can see it in eyes, lips, the way arms are held--I see the look of pure boredom on my xs face when I try to talk with him--looks straight across--absolutely no expression on his face--other than--he's thinking--blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

The biophysicist Wilhelm Reich observed that people's tension levels are mirrored in their physique. Specifically, Reich discovered that tension and anxiety are "trapped" in major muscle groups or "bands" at critical points on the human body (forehead, face, throat/shoulders, chest, stomach and pelvis). After awhile, the muscles are "molded" into certain shapes or forms by their own sustained tension, so that one who is trained in Reichian psychotherapy can instantly read someone's degree (and to a certain extent, nature) of mental affliction just by observing their body. Most people have either slouching or hunched shoulders, which is a sign of repressed fear. Very few people stand erect, and "hold back" their pelvises, which is a sign of sexual repression. Women are so "trained" to cross their legs and fold their arms that they do so without even thinking, and what it tells is very revealing. You can see jaw tension (repressed anger) just by watching someone while they talk and eat.

The list goes on and on and makes for great character analysis. In fact, Reich even positioned the future of psychotherapy as lying in the ability to read the body much moreso than the mind.

Start with what you're trying to find out about their body- people are straightforward. If someone is attracted to you, they'll subconsciously make gestures that remind you of sex, like licking their lips, raising their eyebrows, placing their hands where they want you to look... Conversely, if someone does not want to be around you, they'll literally close themselves off, turning their body away, their chin down and close their legs more. People tense up when they're uncomfortable, and relax when they're relaxed. If it seems overly simple it's because... it is. You just have to know what you're looking for.

I know some body language like eye gazing; smiling, touching and the person want to be near you by standing close to you
