All they have done kick the can down the road by what? two months.. Every time they kick that can the bigger it gets and the shorter the time between kicks. They will not be able to deny reality for too much longer.

I wish they'd dealt with sequestration. But I think they're hoping the new house will be easier to work with...

I am not happy at all with the deal, I would have rather gone off the cliff, rather than cave if to Republicans demands, and post pone sequestration talks for the time we will be discussing the Debt Ceiling, giving Republicans Ample opportunity to grab on to the Debt Celing and possibly make deeper cuts to Government Spending.

    Bad-bad-bad deal indeed

I am not against a tax increase but I think everyone should pay taxes. Regardless of your income level. Once you hit 18, there should be a minimum mandatory tax for every adult until you die. Forty percent of the country does not pay taxes and the top 1 percent pay 25 percent. Everyone should pay, there is no free lunch.

And there needs to a reduction in services. There are too many free lunches and political favortism. I could go on..............but nothing is going to change. The special interest groups and political donors run the country not the people.

It was necessary. i don't like how the whole thing is set up, but i like that a tax "increase" was voted for by some republicans - it gives me hope that some of the mentality is changing and that the next round will be a little more cooperative - a slim hope, but some is better than none
