I would have rather made actual connections, but I think this site has ruined my perception of all social networking sites. I have met people who were more true to who they are on MMORPG's.

good question, althought seeking friends was not the primary reason for me comming here, i have found some connections that I do think are worth to keep!, like you, just to name one!
But the primary reason of me being here was to talk about subjects that in life I don't get much people to share with... subjects related to philosophy, spirituality, anwsers to the big question of life and everything? (42 was the awnser if I recall well ;-).... I am here to satisfy my thirst for such subjects....

Neither applies. These two options don't seem the most logical motives to me anyway, given the fact that most users operate here more or less anonymous.
I like to interact, share and read stories on this site, because of more general interests (not aimed at individual users)
