Are you high or low maintenance?

i use 6 different soaps and lotions in my daily bathing ritual. i will only use them if they are the particular brand i like.
i only wear socks if they are absolutely white. i refuse to walk out the house with wrinkled clothing or chipped finger nail polish.

but i still think im pretty low maintenance.

haha I think that if you are doing all of this for yourself then you are fine...it would be a problem if you expected someone else to do the same as you.

Low.

I am pretty laid back and don't place a lot of stock in 'earthly trappings', if that makes any sense

wow really? Im very very low maintenance!
I do enjoy my showers and love nice soaps and shampoos, but as long as my socks are clean and almost white, I'm good with that. I have my nails done every few weeks so chipping isn't a major problem, but if they were chipped, I'd still leave the house. I don't really iron... I do love the spray that gets the wrinkles out tho!

I'm only high maintenance when I'm not firing on all cylinders. Otherwise, I'm a smooooth ride.

My answer is exactly the same as librakitty's. Low maintenance when it comes to my appearance/clothes, but high maintenance when it comes to my health.

Depends on one's view... I don't wwaer makeup, wear pretty thick glasses and will admitt I do look MUCH better w/ contacts in, but could NOT care less, don't take too much interest in what I wear on a regular basis, etc... But, if you mean "high maintinence, as in that I require ALOT of things that the average person doesn't, to stay aalive, yes, I am high-maintence... very, in fact! I take almost 15 medicatiomns, have to follow a specail diet, and MUCH more!

I've been recently told that I am high maintenance, and I felt bad. High Maintenance in the sense of not having enough practical/relationship skills.

It was terrible news, but I realize that these things are just wake up calls for me to do better.

However, I like Crosseyed Mary's answer the best; it's a little upsetting to refer to ourselves as things which need "maintaining" like cars. We all probably need to be cared for and treated in the way that is suitable to our natures and temperaments. So, what is "high" maintenance to one may be "low" to another, depending on how well we can meet each other's needs and communicate with each other.

If not for all the bling I love, I'd say low. Really, I am low, but I get the white socks thing wholeheartedly. Also agreeing with Mary!

I like finer things in life....I like Estee Lauder colognes and make up....I love Bath and Body Works creams and lotions....I use creams for "mature skin"....I get my nails done every 2 weeks...

I'm low maintenance....the reason I say this...is because I don't expect anyone else to pay for this stuff for me....I finance all of it on my own....I call it taking care of myself....

lol... I'm curious what you would define as 'high maintenance' if you consider yourself 'low maintenance'. It's not a personal attack...you are what you are. Personally, I consider myself low maintenance. Most days I could be perfectly happy just sitting in a park playing with my kids. Some water and a few sandwiches to eat for us, a couple of books for them and myself to read, and sunblock... and I'm good for the day.

The only thing I really care about is a shower each day, clean clothes and keeping my nails short. Far from high maintenance.

i am low maintance, I like quiet eve at home, don't like being fancy, and want only a few close friends and my family, I love camping trips and swimming in rivers, I could care less if my close match, and I hate shopping, my ideal night is renting a movie and sitting at home or camping out and looking at the stars on a quiet beach

Low maintenance. Life is too short to worry about nonessentials. I just need to be clean and have the basics in life. Anything else is nice, but not necessary.

You sound pretty superficial and spoiled, cMiranda. JMO.
