Are you in love with "being in love"? It's a feeling I miss, and I want it back.?

I keep wanting to fall in love, but am in a relationship for the long term and am bringing up a young son. The appropriate answer would, I guess, be "fall in love again with your wife". Believe me, we've tried, it ain't working. We're Ok as friends.
I just miss that headlong feeling of giddiness, the unexpected, and discovering everything about someone new. How do you all feel?

I would trade all the uncertainties of newness, all the unfounded giddiness, all the hopes, all the expectations, for a clear look at the person and a skip 2 years into the future with someone I know very well. My soulmate has just very recently died in a high speed motor accident, we had that, 'special in love feeling' Will I ever meet someone who can share that 'in love feeling' with, is what I sit and think now, you can not love the dead forever, and I know what we had was special and will always chrerish it - but yes would like to have that giddy feeling again, and that does not happen with just anybody, its a chance meeting where there is just that spark between you. reneeta	Posted Oct 22nd, 2009 at 3:40AM friends does not sound satisfying? if she's the adventurous funny one of a kind types, they are really easy to fall in love with again, for me being in love at just 16, i am a mature love professional. most "oldies" feel like this, not saying you are outdated, but you must feel like the passions gone. bring it back by seeing what you saw in her when you met. i want to know how you met? answer back please! krystelle148	Posted Oct 22nd, 2009 at 3:41AM You are gonna have to talk to her and really work on the love. Try councilling. If it does'nt work then check your priorities. If my partner didnt want to stay with me I wouldnt want him to stay. Alot of peoples parents break up its just a fact of life so you dont need to feel guilty.
