Are you married to a Musician?

Living with a Musician is difficult, especially when you also love music and cannot be included with their act. I love to sing. I always sang, was told I sing very well. Since I met my husband, he's the first person who thinks I can not. So, stupid me, stopped singing around him and to the point I hardly sing at all. I lost my touch and hold this horrible grudge against him. Its my own fault.

my husband is a musician but not a professional one; it's more like a hobby. the bad thing about living with a musician is when you sing and he criticize for being tone deaf and not being a good singer. he likes to play the guitar; he has three of them. I don't play any instrument.

Bollocks to your fella - sing your heart out and nemind him. And not being able to (conventionally) sing never did any harm to the following: John Lydon, Joe Strummer, Bob Dylan, Terry Hall, Shaun Rider, Mark E Smith etc etc. As for am i married to a musician... well, he does some pretty tuneful farts at times, but no! Your husband should hear me murder gordon is a moron, or i shot the sheriff, or even a bit of whiskey in the jar, haha. If Ste complains, i just sing louder; he's learned to just let me get on with it, lol. Don't let anyone stop you doing something you like - whether you're good or bad's irrelevant.
