I kind of like all the features. I have been around her quite a long time however so I have had the opportunity to get used to them a little at a time. I can see how if you were new to the site it could become overwhelming to keep up with all the features they off us.

Sometimes they can be overwhelming especially to new members but I've gotten used to them. They're good for you especially if you get overwhelmed by the site as a whole or tired of doing the same things.

Perhaps it is not the number of features, but rather the way they are presented and interact within the whole scheme of the user's experience. There seems to be a lot of overlap, where you can leave some message one way, or another. I found a place that suggested I start a discussion a topic, but when I did it, I ended up with a blog and not connection to the topic I set out to discuss.

There is room for much improvement in the user experience. And what's with charging me to write one person a private message while another is for free? That is very frustrating.

I've sort of been around long enough to only use the ones that are useful. Everything will become clear in time.

When I first came here I was very, very overwhelmed. I didn't know whether to confess, write about dreams, write stories... Then the friends started coming and I didn't know whether to add them as fans of gurus... It was so much. But eventually I figured it all out and I love it.

Not overwhelmed, no. I find many features pointless or redundant. Especially new ones like the Matrix or EP pets.

No. The more the better. EP does not serve few hundred people of the same level of education; it is for more and more various communities of different backgrounds.

I was going to ask this exact question, but using the ahem, search feature, found this thread. So yah, I've been here almost a week (10 hours), and am still feeling a bit overwhelmed, not knowing what to do first or where to type what.... Do I blog it, or confess it, or ask it, or experience it... Not complaining, just commenting. I'm sure if I stick with it, I'll feel the same as many of the regulars and appreciate the variety.
